JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR COORDINATOR OF
EHFA PROJECTS & EREPS PROGRAMME (CPP)
The CPP’s role is to help the development of the EHFA, in line with business objectives, and to aid the development of new partnerships to secure the long term future operation of the Association. In particular this will include working closely with the Director of Projects and Programmes (DPP) and the Head of Brussels Office to assist in delivering:
The development of bids for funding at an EU, national or regional level and to assist with the coordination, monitoring of ongoing progress, and reporting on outcomes for secured projects in line with business expectations, strategic directions and actual project objectives.
The coordination with project partners, EU Commission and EU Associations, national and regional agencies in the delivery of project outcomes, ensuring administration and budget control requirements are properly applied.
Regular reports for on project progress and development and attending meetings where necessary.
Regular updating and development of websites under the control of the Association and as required for each project outcome.
Helping the DPP, Executive and Head of Brussels office to build a comprehensive technology and IT system to deliver business and project objectives.
The operation and delivery of European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS) according to its business plan and overall aims and objectives. In cooperation with the DPP this will include:
Advising applicants about the suitability of their qualifications for registration, and appropriate training to support individual personal and professional development.
To liaise with national partner registers as they are developed and implemented.
Helping to ensure that key documents are kept up to date, and are translated as required.
Ensure the efficient and proper receiving, checking and approving of registration and re-registration applications and liaise with other managers and in cooperation with other partner national registers within the Brussels office and including administering the EREPS liability insurance scheme.
Ensuring that members of EREPS are issued with a certificate of registration, membership card and which is replicated as a publicly accessible and verifiable list of all members, and in translated format as required by partner national registers (and certificate of insurance where required).
Liaise with the Head of Brussels Office to ensure the smooth operation of the EREPS office, including the data-processing, printing of materials and literature, and posting, notifying and coordinating with members and ensuring financial accountability for registration and insurance fees.
Oversee the administrative function of the implementation of EREPS with other partner national registers.
The position of CPP is based in the Brussels office.
The ideal Candidate:
Knowledge of Higher Education in Europe and of EU policies in the field of Higher Education, with interest in Sport, Fitness and Health
Some experience in the administrative management of EU-funded projects
Some experience in organising project partners’meetings (setting agenda and follow-up, logistics);
Good administrative skills
Proactive, flexible, and with a problem solving attitude; highly accurate
Language skills: perfect command of written and spoken English (the working language of the association is English); other languages a strong asset, especially Dutch or German.
Strong IT skills: MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Outlook. Understanding of database principles, insight in Web site management
Excellent team player and ability to work independently; strong organisational skills; able to take on additional responsibilities when required
